Infopoints

Just drop by! In front of kHaus on Unterer Rheinweg you can get information about the Kunsttage and the programme of the institutions every day during opening hours. In case of bad weather, the meeting point is set back inside the kHaus, but still on the Rhine side. The walther bistrobar & buvette serves cool drinks and invites you to linger. In kHaus, you'll also find public, wheelchair-accessible restrooms. They are located in the basement and are directly accessible from the Rhine side.

Another infopoint is located right next to the SBB railway station at the Kunstforum Baloise Park and is the ideal starting point for your visit to Kunsttage.

Kunsttage Plaza

At the Kunsttage Plaza in the kHaus, under the title “Spinning Tales”, everything revolves around the weaving and intertwining of stories. For the first time in Switzerland, Lamyne M.’s “Grandes Robes Royales” will be on display, inviting visitors to reflect on the stories carried within textiles. At the walk-in workshop run by the Institute for Textile Research, participants can contribute to a monumental carpet. The cinema in the Forum will screen selected art films, Radio X will conduct live on-site interviews, and a daily creative corner will be available for children to craft and play. The spatial installation by SOFT SPACE invites visitors to linger, dream, and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, while also offering reading and listening sessions, textile repair, and other pop-ups.
