Performance by “Echt Jetzt!”

Echt Jetzt! is an ensemble for improvisational dance. For the exhibition, they are developing an associative collage that incorporates the angles, colours and openings of the installation. Due to the narrowness of the space and the angularity of the installation, the performance can only partially be grasped by the audience. The audience moves freely during the performance and is encouraged to position itself in the space.

PERIPHERIE 8, the art room, is located on the top floor of a residential building on the outskirts of Basel. PERIPHERIE 8 is an independent OFFSPACE. The art room is open for artistic experiments and has the motto: experimental, poetic, performative. The space is open for collaboration, exchange, and mediation. The focus is on the diversity of different media.
