Stories arise from the interplay of fragments – memories, materials and perspectives. “Spinning Tales” refers to the process of weaving these seemingly separate threads together. At kHaus, the Kunsttage Plaza takes up this idea and asks how narratives arise, overlap or dissolve.

“Spinning Tales” does not view stories as fixed narratives, but as permeable structures. Art becomes a changing texture that remains in motion and constantly reconnects.

All are welcome to visit the Plaza and explore it for themselves. What awaits you:

- Installation Les grandes robes royales by Lamyne M.

- Reparario. A pop-up repair workshop for textiles

- A walk-in workshop by the Institut für Textiles Forschen (Institute for Textile Research)

- Film programme by videocity in the Forum

- A thematic art corner for all the family in the Forum foyer

- Collective performance Page Blanche by Lamyne M.

- Guided tour on colour in Kunst&Architektur

- A room installation by Soft Space, with a special event:

- Tales & Textures – Special Edition. A culinary-literary handcraft circle on the theme of textile stories

- Print and Pause – T-shirt printing workshop “PausenDruckProtest” with Stadtschwarm

The info point where you can get all information about the programme of the Kunsttage institutions is also located in the Kunsttage Plaza.

kHaus promotes exchange, synergies, interactions and encounters – within the building with our users, organisers and visitors, but also on the grounds, in the lively neighbourhood, with neighbours and interested parties in the city and beyond. We are committed to creating a space with multiple uses, where people can try things out and experiment, where we can constructively engage with political and social issues.

During Kunsttage, kHaus serves as the info point for the entire event and other offerings on site.
