What’s on: Art Basel Week 2026

Art Basel turns Basel into a stage for contemporary art. During Art Basel Week, exhibitions, openings, performances, and special events transform the entire city into a vibrant cultural parcours.

This guide brings together new and ongoing exhibitions in artist run spaces, galleries and institutions, along with selected events, gatherings, and free offerings—serving as a comprehensive guide to Basel’s art week beyond the exhibition halls.

Public Projects & Art Happenings (Free Admission)

  • Art Basel Parcours, 15–17 June, 10am–8pm / 18–21 June, 10am–7pm, with more than 20 site-specific projects across Kleinbasel. The digital map is available here. 


  • Art@Dreispitz, Wednesday, 17 June 2026, from 4pm. Atelier Mondial, HGK Basel FHNW together with CIVIC and Der Tank, HEK, and Kunsthaus Baselland present a public programme.


  • Basel Social Club, 14–20 June 2026, Viaduktstrasse 33 & Erdbeergraben 1, Basel. Performances, exhibitions, music, cinema, parties, food & drinks, and I Never Read, Art Book Fair Basel.


  • Finally Saturday, 20 June 2026, 6pm–4am, in and around Kuppel Basel. Unforgettable moments in a festive atmosphere, from a rave walk to a breakdance battle.
